This week, Gadgets 360 spoke to Sitakanta Ray, the co-founder/ COO of MySmartPrice, a price comparison website based in Hyderabad. Although Ray describes himself as a techie, his personal gadgets collection is limited to just two devices - his laptop and smartphone - but together they meet all of the different gadget needs he has.

Read on to know more about Ray's tech setup.

Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?
Sitakanta Ray: I have the MacBook Air 2015 for work and use a One Plus One as my primary mobile phone. Our devices have become so versatile that you don't need to have multiple gadgets to meet all the other roles anymore.

What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?
Sitakanta Ray: The apps I often use include MySmartPrice (of course) for most of my shopping needs. I use Trello, as it is our primary project management app that we use internally in MySmartPrice and I get all my internal updates using it. Twitter is my primary source of news, I use it more as an app to consume what is popular to read than as a social network.

What is the one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?
Sitakanta Ray: I never travel without my MacBook Air. It's light and convenient and as someone who is often called to give presentations at events or to journalists, the MacBook helps me demonstrate the site as well as take stock of the days output from my managers.

What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?
Sitakanta Ray: My dream gadget setup would be a QHD Flat screen TV that syncs with my phone or with a tablet, to let me watch my favourite shows when I'm home.

How has technology changed the way in which you work?
Sitakanta Ray: Being a techie myself, the contribution of technology to my work and business has been significant. I do most of my work on a mobile phone or my laptop today which seemed unthinkable even mere five years ago. Today, be it networking, shopping or even completing office work, I need only my smartphone.
