  • Prime Photos offers unlimited storage to members

If you use Prime membership, you must be aware about Amazon's unlimited photo storage service called Prime Photos. Now, the company has introduced Family Vault that allows you to share your Prime Photos account with up to five people. A Prime member can invite a group of people to share, add, and access pictures on one Prime Photos account.

Amazon also brings support for sifting photos in 'people, places, and things', making it easy to discover old photos. It also allows 5GB worth of video and file storage across the five users. Prime Photos, just like Google, offers unlimited cloud storage to users with a Prime membership, one of the many benefits it comes with. Amazon's Prime has gained a lot of popularity because of its faster shipments, as well as auxiliary services like music and video streaming services, which are available in select regions like the US.

Amazon Prime was introduced in India in July this year, and the company offered a 60-day free trial to all users as a welcome offer. A yearly membership fee for Amazon Prime costs Rs. 499 in India.

As of now, Prime in India only comes with unlimited one-day and two-day delivery with no minimum order size and early access to some deals on Amazon, as well as some Prime-members only deals. Members do not get to enjoy Amazon's video and music streaming facilities; however the company has confirmed that Amazon Video is launching soon in the country. The latest rumour suggests that it will happen on November 9.
