Amazon Prime Day Sale 2019 is a two-day affair this year, from July 15 to July 16

Amazon Prime Day 2019 sale has kicked off. The two-day sale will continue till Tuesday, end of day. This is the third Amazon Prime Day sale in India, and the fifth to be held globally. As with other Amazon Prime Day sales, the offers are only available for Amazon Prime subscribers. Amazon ahead of the sale had promised a deals and offers across all major product categories, as well as 1,000 new product launches. There will also be new releases on Prime Video and Prime Music. Amazon Prime Day 2019 will have also have refurbished and open-box smartphones on sale with up to 60 percent discounts compared to their launch price.

Amazon Prime membership

Amazon Prime is a subscription-based service that offers a number of benefits. For starters, you receive free priority shipping while shopping on Amazon. You also receive a number of other freebies including free access to Prime Video and Prime Music in India. From time to time, Amazon offers exclusive deals and products to its Prime members in India.

You can sign up for Amazon Prime directly via the company's website. You can also sign up for Prime using Amazon's Android mobile application. Once you make a payment, you'll get instant access to all Prime benefits. Prime membership costs Rs. 999 for a full year and Rs. 129 per month. Amazon is currently offering a 50 percent discount (in the form of cashback) to young users aged between 18 to 24. In case you're looking to get Prime membership in India for free, you could sign up for a specific tariff plan with Airtel, Vodafone, BSNL, or Idea that offers complimentary access to Prime membership for a full year.

The e-commerce site has also promised the lowest price ever for a number of phones, including the Samsung Galaxy M30 at Rs. 13,990, the Honor 8C at Rs. 7,999, the Xiaomi Mi A2 at Rs. 9,999, the OnePlus 6T at Rs. 27,999, the Nokia 8.1 at Rs.18,499, the LG V40 ThinQ at Rs. 39,990, the Honor View 20 at Rs. 27,990, the Samsung Galaxy M20 at Rs. 9,990, the Realme U1 at Rs. 8,990, the Nokia 6.1 Plus at Rs. 11,999, the Samsung Galaxy M10 at Rs. 7,990, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro at Rs. 8,999, the Nokia 5.1 at Rs, 6,999, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star at Rs. 17,790, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 at Rs. 6,999, the Vivo V15 Pro at Rs. 26,990 with an extra exchange discount of Rs. 3,000, and the Huawei Y9 (2019) at Rs. 11,990.
