I received this phone earlier today, and I must say this is a good phone. Good value for money, plus amazing features which runs Android One. Thankfully no "clutter apps" to slow down and mess with my decent usage. Good work Google, and thanks Karbonn. Bought this from Snap Deal.

LIke anyother andriod phone it is pretty decent phone for 6.5K, using it for 2 days in row so far no lag or app freezing troubles or phone over heating etc. If you need a phone for basic use with great camera (thou its 5MP, it has preinstalled cam modes not usually seen on all andriod phones, thats like a bonus and played with it and i liked it), loud speaker, simple and sweet phone (1.3GHZ QUAD and 1GB RAM) then go for it. The only trouble i have had is to hold this phone, too small for my hand. i wish it was 5.5 inch. Consider : Why did you choose this rating ? For the price tag attached for this phone its best in its class. What did you like or dislike? Like -> Simple design, light weight, camera options, loud speaker, call calrity while travelling at high speed. Dislike -> Size, the front panel launch buttons are inside the screen eatting up display space,

I have purchased this phone on 19th April, 2015 and with the Flipkart First I got it delivered on 20th April, 2015. It is feeling good. Easy to use but no file manager is exist that you have to download from Play store.

It exceeded my expectation. I would say battery pack should have little more but thats not a problem. It lasts entire day with moderate use. Now updated to Lollipop 5.1.1. It has google reliability. 5 MP camera is also of good quality, justifying it's price. Sound quality ia also good. Sleek design. Little brother to Nexus. UPDATE - Now updating to Android marsmallow. Except internal memory, everything is better compare to others in this price range in terms of real use, not on paper.

I bought this phone for my friend. He has Moto G3 but he bought this for only calling and call recording purpose for his work. Back camera is good and flash is bright. Front not so good. Decent battery backup. If only used for calls gives 2 days backup. processor is fast and never hangs. Bluetooth was not receiving files from other device in kitkat so i upgraded it to lollipop and problem is fixed. Overall this phone is great if you are living in a city without 4G connectivity in low budget, otherwise go for 4G devices.

I brought the karbonn sparkle v in rs 4000 and now i update 5.1.1 lollipop one of the major and minor draw back is battery around 1 day but routine usage 16 to 18 hrs all specifications are gud for this price and gud looking and amazing user interface as pure android experience.....................!!!

This is a review after a year . I bought it when it was newly launched. I would say its the best in its class. Yes, sometimes when you are unlucky, you may have defect product delivered. but for me , I would like to buy it again.

only one disadvantage is battery for heavy user it will lost for 6-7 hours remaning all are excellent futures,good earphones,screenguard,all are good i bought it for 3999,dont expect these features in at 5k price

This is is a superb phone with a decent (Not great) camera. It has enough RAM for most of the apps and has the lowest bloatware. Love the stock android and direct updates. It is fast and responsive even compared to 8-9K models. Wonder why anyone will buy anything else under 10K. Best of all it has a Compass as well as gyroscope which is absent in so many higher priced phones.

Despite being 2yr old, Sparkle V is still an excellent choice. Now even more as one can get it for just 4k. Pros: + Android 5.1 ready. + Image sharpness and viewing angle. + Fast processor and good amount of ram. + Good camera for the price. + Absolutely no lag. + Cost less than 4k. Cons - Ships with Android 4.4 with Android 5.1 available as an update. - Lots of unnecessary apps eat into precious internal memory. - Back panel is dust magnet. - Battery backup not upto the mark. The box contains the phone, battery, earphone, usb cable (acts as power cord), plug, screen guard, and a bunch of manuals and Airtel offer booklet. The phone's quality is acceptable but if you used a (any) Motorola device lately you'll know what quality means. Karbonn used a big flat battery so the weight gets evenly distributed. The back panel is matte (thankfully) but still acts as dust magnet. The bezels are quite thick which makes the phone look huge for a mobile with screen size of 4.5". It ships with stock Android 4.4 out of the box. Once connected to WiFi, the Android 5.1 update download option shows up. Download and install, a small update of Android 5.1.1 arrives followed by the first of monthly security update from Google. I was expecting Android 5.1 to ship out of the box as the combined download size amounts to 450MB and takes a while to download. Stock android means user decided how to customize and use the phone, rather than use it the way phone manufacturer intended it to be used. The phone came with a good lot of Google apps and a few bloatwares installed. This had a direct effect on the phone's limited internal memory (4GB) which resulted in free memory of only 1.7GB. With such low amount of memory, Google should have limited the number of preinstalled apps to a bare minimum. But i guess they want to make it feel android. But luckily the complete internal space is reserved for apps and games. So before you fire up the camera, make sure an microSD card is present in the slot. The display is 4.5" IPS LCD with WVGA (480X854) resolution. This results in a pixel per inch (ppi) of 218ppi which is low but the images appeared quite sharp thanks to IPS panel which also results in excellent viewing angles. But if one have previously used a 720p display based phone, the low pixel count becomes immediately apparent. Processor is the Mediatek MTK6582 (quadcore Cortex A7 i.e. 32bit processor with dualcore Mali-400 GPU) the bread and butter of Indian phone manufacturer since 2-3yrs. It is by no means a bad choice capable of handling gaming and Full HD videos alike thanks to pairing with 1GB of ram. Sure not all games will be buttery smooth and there is no point playing FHD videos on a WVGA display. But if anyone wants, they can. Camera is 5MP with acceptable quality. Clicks in broad daylight yields good shot but turn down the light and image has a fair bit of noise. Video recording is 720p but didn't test. Flash doesn't look particularly strong but should be enough for shots in low light. 2MP front camera just like the rear, is just usable. Battery is 1700mAh which looks sufficient but initially drains really fast. A few tweaks here and there does help. Depending on use, may have to charge twice daily to once every 2 days. The phone gets hot under load or prolonged use. Even when charging the phone heats up despite being not the slimmest phone around. To sum it up, Karbonn Sparkle V is a decent phone with its fair share of flaws. Luckily no wrong corners were cut. It is recommended for first time users or those upgrading from ancient android device. For those upgrading, consider going for Motorola, Yu or even Xiaomi depending on customization preference and requirements.

This is very very good phone for this price. I buy This phone and upgrade with lollipop. It is very cool phone and not hang even installed many app in mobile.
