for those who need portability with productivity,especially those constantly on travel in their job,this is a superb product,power and feature wise.huge memory,powerful processor,superb display,terrific screen pen,a great os win10pro that runs apps and desktop software,microsoft has a winner in its hand as hardware marketer.but those power users,used to high end 15"/17" laptops or allinones/monitors upto 34" with multiple connectivity options,will find this an ultra expensive bit powerful toy they can do without.it cant replace a power laptop altogether.it has limitations.small screen real estate is an irritant for many.the verdict,i am skipping it though admiring it from a distance as I know spending similar bucks for a regular laptop,not a hybrid,will buy me humongous specs in a years time,viz.7th gen codylake intel core i7 processor,a qhd ips display and similar features.those who need a tablet for their day to day work,this device is an irresistible option.

Super 2in1 device (laptop + tablet). Pen & eraser is super, i never seen a digital eraser so smooth.Dolby speakers and great screen resolution.

A very good Hybrid: Tablet + Laptop. It's on the expensive side is the only drawback of this fine laptop. Its presently the best in the market from looks, speed and facial recognition.

I bought the a surface pro 3 i5/8gb/256gg from the US last in jan 2015. if i had a bit more money i would have gone for i7 version. But that would be pure greed, i5 works perfectly and mind you am a slightly heavy user with graphic requirements and all.I had been tracking this for some time and when visited US grabbed it. Why?1.) I travel quiet often and lugging regular lappies the weight starts troubling you not to mention the poor battery2.) Tablets are not full version OS and limits my working and inter portability of files i work on3.) touch interface is intuitive for general entertainment and use4.) I do have to jot down notes or musings so the pen helps a lot5.) I like to read books and cant do that on tiny phone screens6.) I wanted a decently powerful device so i could use photoshop and autocad etc7.) i need to sign and give approvals on documents or mark them - the pen again helps a lot.As a casual traveler : I love it (portable and intutive keyboard does not come in the way comfortable on aircraft traysAs a business traveler : I love it. fully working systemAs an Artist : love itAs a father : love it a my 5year old is able to enjoy his apps and gameswell quit honestly if your pocket permits and you need a touch screen, or take notes or sketch a bit. or like readingthis ONE DEVICE FITS ALL Needsjust a bit expensive but worth every pennyYes i agree India prices are crazy, i'd rather travel to singapore enjoy a weekend there and buy a surface with complete eco system (accessories) in the same costthe only downside is its a bit expensive as is, but trust me the build quality and features and the ownership experience justifies the cost.

Except the battery - @ 5 hours, everything about Surface is top class - it is an ideal office laptop - with word, excel, powerpoint and outlook - oxygen for most Indian office professionals.It is handy and wonderful compression of the latest processor, technology, display, keyboard etc.Would recommend atleast 8GB RAM & i5/ i7 processor , so that it pulls through for atleast the next 2/3 years in the future.A dream machine, I must add ...

A wonderful tablet/laptop by microsoft

Bought surface pro 4 256 GB when it was still not available in India. I was very sceptical about this device in the beginning, but slowly and steadily it won my heart over by its charm.This is an awesome device, packed with power and style. Do not be let down by the joker posts giving it 1,2,3 rating. Its a 5 star device.The built is very good, the form is beautiful and weights like a feather.It's screen is best ever in the world and is too good to believe.The speed is good too.But , yes there is a BUT here also. The battery is avg. There is this and only this problem, to this otherwise God device. It gives around 4 to 5 hours on battery which I wished to be better.And, the price. But every premium ting comes at a price. I bought it in $1299 which is a bit cheaper that in India.Overall, I just love this device.

I bought Core i5 and 256GB variant + Keyboard. Have been using from past 25 days.Usage: Personal and Official - for software developmentI also use extra accessories - bluetooth mouse, mini display to hdmi/vga, usb2lan etc.,Pros:a) It does all and works well. I run almost all programming IDE's (atleast 2 IDE's at a time) , database and other applicationsb) Love the pen and ability to take notes (I used to maintain lot of papers earlier for rough notes/sketches of software design/take snapshot of whitebaord in a meeting room... all are gone now). I easily share what I want with my team.c) Lightweight and easy to carry around.d) Stopped using laptop - this is my all in one.Cons:No Major Issue that cannot be resolved easilya) Had wakeup issues few times (widely reported) - Surface support suggests to upgrade to latest drivers to resolve the issueb) Screen flickers sometimes when watching video while using default app or youtube. But watching same video in VLC player screen doesnot flicker. might be a driver or software issuec) Sometimes keyboard becomes unresponsive .. had to remove and plug it in againd) Screen scaling issues for some microsoft and other appsThis device is not everyone. But for those who need the flexibility and functionality provided by Surface Pro. There is nothing like it out there.

This surface pro 4 is a mindblowing tablet...or we call it full fledge hybrid pc.works flawlessly. There is no heating issues..and for those who are facing battery issues..wait till microsoft releases major update on or before may 15😃

Surface pro 4 is a very good product for college students. The pen writes like real one which makes it very good for taking notes in the class, or just doodling sometimes. BE CAREFUL WITH THE PEN though, I knocked it from the bed once and the tip broke (but Microsoft sent a replacement a few days later). Also I would recommend buying the Surface type cover with it, because if you just want the tablet experience then you should probably get iPad Air or iPad Pro.

There is nothing yet that can be defined as a complete laptop replacement than this product.Microsoft surface pro 4 lives up to the expectation and is definitely an ideal laptop replacement. This is now my primary laptop which I take for meetings and presentations and it is just fantastic to use.Windows 10 OS is another boon to users like me. Its so simple and effective.I just love this product.....

Microsoft surface pro 4 is a Great product, The display looks gorgeous most color accurate with touch and pen support.The battery life is very good around 6 hours at moderate use,windows hello lens unlocks the device pretty fast using iris scanner. kick stand also works very well i does not wobble from its position.surface pro 4 type-cover keyboard is an accessory need to buy separately wish Microsoft should included in the box it is an necessary accessoryThe keys on keyboard are spacious and are back-lit it is very good keyboard ,The Track-pad is a glossy one it is one of the best track-pad on windows devices it supports gestures,5 point multi touch all works very well.It is not a gaming machine don't expect to play high intensity games you can play small games and medium level games at low settings.it definitely for the people who wants power of Intel core-i5 processor and a full PC in a best portable way.con- The only con i can say is so expensive pricing in India.Thank you for reading my review.�

It's a full function laptop in a tablet form factor, but with a laptop size screen. Absolutely the best hybrid you could hope for.

Nothing beats Surface when it comes to Windows 10. It made my iPad obsolete. I had an older Mac and wanted something great as a replacement. I was unsure because of my bad Win experience in the past. But this product is really goodSpeed 10/10Screen 9/10Audio 10/10Battery 6/10 and a known issue with Surface tabs. Be sure to be around a power source if you plan to work more than 6 hours during travel. I don't so I am perfectly fine.Usability 10/10 Surface pen makes it easier to point n click. I purchased type cover as well and it works like a charm.Overall a good device
