Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 With 3GB RAM Now Available at Rs. 13,999

To recall, Asus started taking pre-orders for its ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5, and ZenFone 2 Deluxe back in August. Currently, the ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5 with 3GB of RAM and octa-core Snapdragon 615 is on sale.

The company, at the India launch in August, had announced that it would be selling the new ZenFone smartphone series through Flipkart alongside its exclusive physical stores and other retailers in the country. All the ZenFone phones going up for pre-orders are based on Android 5.0 Lollipop, come with 4G LTE support, and feature dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) dual standby support.

The ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE550KL) features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display, comes with 16GB of built-in storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB), and a 3000mAh battery. It also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, and a 5-megapixel front camera.

Other specifications of the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 (ZE550KL) include Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection from scratches; Adreno 405 GPU; Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company's Zen UI 2.0; rear camera accompanied by real tone flash and Laser autofocus; measuring 152.5x77.2x10.8mm, and weighs 170 grams.

Asus India has confirmed that the ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5 will be available in 3 colour variants - Black, Red, and White.

Last month, Asus ZenFone Go smartphone went on sale at Rs. 7,999 and was available via the company's exclusive stores apart from other retail stores and Flipkart.

Asus ZenFone Selfie also went on sale at Rs. 17,999 last month. The company had revealed that only the 32GB variant with 3GB RAM would be available to buy.
