Celkon Campus Whizz Q42 With Android 4.4.2 KitKat Listed on Company Site

Celkon has introduced the Campus Whizz Q42 smartphone by listing it on the company site without a price. There is no official word on the availability or price of the Campus Whizz Q42; however, we expect the company will announce the availability of the smartphone in the coming days.

The Celkon Campus Whizz Q42 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The popular domestic handset maker has recently been pushing out Android KitKat-based steadily smartphones such as Celkon Colt A401 and Celkon XION S CT695. The Campus Whizz Q42 features a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) Cortex A7 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Celkon Campus Whizz Q42 features 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options.

The smartphone packs a 1400mAh battery, with no word on talk time and standby time. The Campus Whizz Q42 measure 122x63x9.5mm, weighs 122 grams, and is listed in Black and Red colour.

Last month, Celkon, soon after launching the XION S CT695 with a 6.95-inch screen, had introduced the budget Colt A401 smartphone by listed it on its site.

The Celkon XION S CT695 phablet features a 6.95-inch (600x1024 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 (MediaTek MT8312) processor that's coupled with a Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support.
