These days, buying a premium-end smartphone has become an even tougher task, as their prices keep increasing steadily. This is why Flipkart's 'Pixel Exchange Festival' may act as a boon for those who wish to upgrade their current smartphone to Google's first self-branded smartphone.

Flipkart's Pixel Exchange Festival is offering discounts of up to Rs. 26,000 on exchange of your current smartphone. The festival lasts from November 18 to November 25. As a part of this festival, the e-commerce giant is also offering extra 5 percent off on the smartphone for Axis Bank Buzz credit cards.

If using HDFC Bank credit cards, customers can get extra Rs. 7,000 off on the smartphone. To read the detailed terms and conditions for the offer, interested readers can head directly to Flipkart's website.

However, at the time of writing this article, Google Pixel XL (Quite Black, 128GB) and Google Pixel XL (Very Silver, 128GB) both priced at Rs. 76,000 have gone out of stock from the website.

In our testing of the exchange programme, we found that owners of iPhone 6s Plus might be the only ones eligible to avail the full discount of Rs. 26,000 as most other smartphones seem to fetch a much smaller value compared to the Apple smartphone.
