An image of a forthcoming Micromax smartphone, the A92 Canvas Lite has leaked online via Twitter.

Twitter user @MMXNewscaster, the source of the leak, posted a blurry picture showing the front of the smartphone. The phone is white in colour and appears to feature a large screen and three capacitive buttons. The design language is inline with other Canavas series phone but also slightly resembles phones in Samsung's Galaxy line-up. Other than the image, there is not much information available except that the phone will be powered by a dual-core processor. The 'Lite' moniker might imply that the phone will not feature top of the line hardware and would most likely be  a budget version of the Canvas 2.

The user had earlier posted images and specifications of the Micromax A111 Canvas Doodle in April that turned out to be accurate when the company launched the phone last week.

Prior to that, @MMXNewscaster had also leaked pictures of the Micromax A115 Canvas 3D. Micromax launched the phone towards the end of April.

Micromax has found success with the Canvas series of smartphones and had claimed to have sold over a million units since launch. No wonder it's expanding the series adding new handsets across different segments and even introducing niche phones like the Canvas Music. The Canvas series consists of Micromax A100 the first Canvas phone,Micromax A72 Canvas Viva, Micromax A110 Canvas 2 (Review | Pictures), Micromax A116 Canvas HD (Review | Pictures), Micromax A115 Canvas 3D, Micromax A111 Canvas Doodle, Micromax A115 Canvas 3D, and Micromax A88 Canvas Music.
