Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was launched at a gala launch event held on Thursday in Brooklyn, New York. As announced at the event itself, pre-orders for the flagship phablet go live starting Friday, August 10 in the US. The smartphone will be available for pre-orders across US mobile carriers including T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular, and Xfinity Mobile. The unlocked version of the Galaxy Note 9 is also up for pre-orders. The smartphone will start shipping for pre-ordering customers in the US from August 24. Certain pre-order gifts for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 have also been detailed ahead of availability.

The unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9 price has been set at $999.99 (roughly Rs. 68,900) for the 128GB storage model and $1,249.99 (roughly Rs. 86,100) for the variant with 512GB of onboard storage. The variant will be available for pre-order across Samsung stores (online and offline), Best Buy, B&H, and Amazon.

On Verizon's mobile network in the North American country, the 128GB variant will be available with a 24-month plan at $41.66 (around Rs. 2,900) per month or a full payment of $999.99. The top-end variant with 512GB internal storage can be pre-ordered for $52.08 (about Rs. 3,600) per month for 24 months, or $1,249.99 in full, across Verizon stores in the US.

The Galaxy Note 9 can be pre-ordered on AT&T's website as well. The base variant has a monthly instalment of $33.34 (roughly Rs. 2,300) for a 30-month contract on AT&T Next. There is always the option of paying in full for no annual contract with the carrier. AT&T has not yet detailed contract plans for the 512GB storage model.

As for T-Mobile, pre-orders are now live on the carrier's website, albeit with mandatory down payment schemes. Users can order the base 128GB model of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with a down payment of $279.99 (about Rs. 19,300) for a $30 (approximately Rs. 2,100) per month installment that runs up to 24 months. The 512GB model has a down payment of $529.99 (around Rs. 36,500) with the same monthly instalment and time period. Both variants can, of course, be bought at their official full prices.

US Cellular has instalment plans similar to the ones offered on AT&T Next. Users can avail a $33.30 per month instalment for a period of 30 months on the Galaxy Note 9 128GB model or just pay the full amount of $999. The 512GB storage model has an instalment of $41.64 (roughly Rs. 2,900) per month for the same period.

Lastly, Xfinity has plans starting at $41.67 per month, for 24 months, for the 128GB storage model of the Galaxy Note 9. They go up to $52.08 for the same period on pre-ordering the 512GB storage model. Both are also available at their respective full prices. Additionally, the carrier is offering a $300 (about Rs. 20,600) prepaid card on buying a new Samsung phone, activating a new line, and transferring your existing number to Xfinity Mobile's network. The prepaid card offer ends on September 30.

Except on Verizon and Xfinity, Samsung is bundling the option of getting a free pair of AKG noise-cancelling headphones (worth $299 or about Rs. 20,600 in retail) or 15,000 V-bucks on Fortnite (worth $150 or around Rs. 10,300); a game that is currently exclusive to Samsung Galaxy smartphones on Android. Users can also avail both gifts by paying an extra amount of $99 (roughly Rs. 6,800) over and above the phone's price.
