Just a week after its official announcement, the Xiaomi Mi 4 smartphone has been put up for sale in China.

As per its listing seen on the main Xiaomi website, the 3G-only 16GB-White version of the Xiaomi Mi 4 (China Unicom network) is up for sale at CNY 1999 (roughly Rs. 19,400). However, Phonearena states both 16GB (same price) and 64GB at CNY 2400 (roughly Rs. 23,300) are available for sale online, in both Black and White colour variants.

Xiaomi, at the time of the launch of its Mi 4, said it will launch a 4G-enabled version of the Mi 4 in September that will be available outside China.

Recalling the specifications of the handset, the Xiaomi Mi 4 sports the same 5-inch full-HD display (1080x1920 pixels) found on the Mi 3, but with an inclusion of JDI OGS full lamination display.

There is a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera on the Xiaomi Mi 4, with both sporting Sony's stacked CMOS sensors. The smartphone is backed by a 3080mAh Li-ion battery. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz alongside 3GB of RAM.

Mi 4's predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi 3 debuted in the Indian market on July 22 and was claimed to have been sold out within 40 minutes. The smartphone will however be available again on Flipkart this Tuesday. The Chinese handset maker has already revealed that consumers who didn't get to purchase Mi 3 on the first day the phone went on sale (July 22) will be automatically registered for the next sale.
