It's been a couple of years since Oppo entered the Indian market and since then, the company has managed to capture the attention of buyers with unique smartphones, right from the swivelling camera on the Oppo N1 to India's first Quad-HD display on the Oppo Find 7. Its most recent launch is the brand new Oppo R7 Lite, a mid-range offering priced at Rs.18,000.

This is a tough segment to compete in, as we have the recently launched OnePlus X, the Gionee Elife S7 (Review | Pictures) from earlier in the year, and the crowd favourite Motorola Moto X Play (Review) - all hovering around the same price point. The R7 Lite is the smaller sibling of the Oppo R7 Plus and our initial impressions of both the phones were on the positive side. Let's find out if our initial thoughts hold true once we've put it through the grind.

Oppo R7 Lite Summary

The Oppo R7 Lite is a beautifully crafted smartphone with a unibody aluminium chassis and 2.5D arc display. The Amoled panel might have an low HD resolution but pixel density is tight enough to keep text and images sharp. This phone is very slim at 6.3mm, and light too. Performance is good thanks to the octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC. There's also 4G LTE support and dual-SIM capabilities, although this is a hybrid design which makes you choose between a second SIM and storage expansion. Battery life is excellent. The camera app offers plenty of functionality but if could use some polish, and low-light performance could have been better. We wish there was NFC and FM radio. Overall, the R7 Lite is a good pick in the sub-Rs. 20,000 price segment.

Elegant Plus Specs Wise!

I give it 5 starts because of its overall performance, I haven't encountered any lag or glitches in my time of use. What I like about is that it has good camera plus the gestures, perfect whenever I'm in a hurry. The camera also has a lot of features. Just a bit disappointed, I was expecting it to have a VOOC Charger but apparently it doesn't have in its package. But I can say that it is fast in charging. If you're a heavy gamer like me, you'll charge twice a day but you will be already fully charge approximately 1 and a half hours so its fine with me. Sophisticated with its looks plus a great specs for an affordable price. I recommend it to everyone. Elegant looks plus specs wise.

Very gud Experience

This mobile has awesome experience and camera quality is extremely gud. Even flipkart not updated correctly some of the feature in specification. The super quality is mobile design. In single touch u can become a fan of this mobile. Battery is one day with full enjoyment.
