Of late, Realme has been refreshing its smartphones at a rapid pace largely so it can have a leg up over Xiaomi. While this does give consumers a lot of choice, it can be annoying for someone who's just bought a Realme device, knowing that there's already something newer and better out there. Realme has now refreshed its primary numerical series one again, with the Realme 6 (Review) and the Realme 6 Pro succeeding the Realme 5 (Review) and 5 Pro (Review) smartphones.
Realme 6 Pro Summary
The Realme 6 Pro is a mid-range flagship featuring the powerful Snapdragon 720G chipset and a quad rear camera setup. It features a 6.6-inch LCD display, which produces good colours and brightness. There's no in-dsiplay fingerprint sensor so Realme has used a capacitive one in the power button. There's face unlock too, which works very well.
Realme has used a modern-looking, hole-punch cutout in the display for the two front cameras. The phone is avilable with up 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The latter is expandable. App and gaming performance is very good and we didn't face any issue with heating either. The 4,300mAh battery easily lasts for a day and half and there's 30W fast charging too.
The main 64-megapixel camera captures good quality photos in daylight and at night. Night mode comes in handy here. There's a wide-angle camera which is useful and macro camera for ultra close-up shots. The 6 Pro can also shoot video up to 4K resolution.

Everything about the phone is top class, from Gorilla glass front and rear, the lightning reflection on the rear which many people have commented on, the 90hz refresh rate and the cameras. The camera software is also very good and intuitive. I cannot find a single fault with the Realme 6 Pro.Is this review helpful?

Simply awesomeNeeraj Batchu (Mar 30, 2020) on FlipkartI'm writing this review after 2 weeks of use In hand feel: phone is large and difficult for one handed use but the weight distribution is great doesn't feel heavy. Display is neither dim nor too bright it gets the job done even in outdoor and the 90hz refresh rate makes it feel smooth. Cameras on the back are good but 20x zoom doesn't give you clear image. Selfie cameras are good and the camera performance can be improved by updates. Battery life is amazing 😍(even with 90hz on) I easily got screen on time about 8 hrs with 20 percent battery remaining. 30 watt charger is a life saver but phone and charger get slightly warm during charging(it ain't much). Performance is smooth for normal users. Coming to gaming I play marvel contest of champions and pubg gameplay was smooth. Phone gets little warm while playing but its common for all phones. I chose this phone over poco X2 because of software Realme ui is far better and cleaner compared to miui. My only complaint about this phone is that this phone doesn't come with a screen guard apllied to it. Overall this is a good phone and worth buying..Is this review helpful?
