• GALAXY S smartphone not worth its PRICE!

  i have used galaxy S for 2 years and my review is as follows: BUILD & DESIGN: Galaxy S has sleek smart body which is attractive and stylish. I loved its rounded corners and as it is slim it is very easy to carry. And weight is also very less. DISPLAY: The 4inch display is very handy as it is just perfect for viewing and carrying in pocket. The screen is brilliant and the touch is very smooth and nice. CAMERA: The camera being 5 megapixel has brilliant photo quality in daylight and in area where light is bright. But where light is not sufficient the camera under performs. The best Feature in the cell is its Camera. Battery Back up: The battery being 1500mAh is the weak point of the cell. when new the battery performs well without charging for a day but as the time passes the battery starts to drain quickly. If packet data left on for an hour to use internet the battery will drain to zero in ah hour. Sound Quality: The sound quality of the cell is brilliant and with headphones on the 5.1 audio effects are superb to hear. this is second best feature in the cell. Performance: Galaxy S has a 300mb RAM which is the weakest link. Though the cell has 13Gb internal storage but without a memory card the RAM gets full in no time and the phone hangs. Price of rs 25000 for a 300mb RAM phone is too much. Not worth its price. Android gingerbread 2.3 does not update which is disappointing. Gaming: Galaxy S works awesome when games with total of 5mb are run. But games having more than 10mb the phone starts to hang and forces close the application. Internet: Surfing and downloading anything from the phone is done super fast in 2G as well as 3G network. Video Quality: Galaxy S has a decent video quality and plays almost any video. MY Ratings: Build & Design: 6/10 Display: 8/10 Camera: 8/10 Battery Back up: 3/10 Sound Quality: 6/10 Performance: 4/10 Gaming: 4/10 Internet: 7/10 Video Quality: 6/10 My Verdict: Galaxy S is a smartphone with average features at a very high price. Its Camera, Sound Quality, and Design are its strong points. The battery. RAM, Gaming is its disappointing features. I would say to buy smartphone at this price is not worth there are better smartphones available. Better RAM storage and Battery would have made Galaxy S worth buying.
