Facebook Graph Search for mobile starts rolling out to some users
Almost a year after Facebook first launched its Graph Search tool, which enabled users to search for data in a more broad user specific manner, the company now seems to be gearing up to launch the same Graph Search tool very soon on mobile devices via the Facebook app, which includes both smartphones and tablets.

Mashable writer, Seth Fiegerman recently posted a tweet on February 2, which showcased the screen shot image of the new Graph Search feature for the mobile platform. He wrote 'Just got the Graph Search on the Facebook app'. The fact that the feature has been available to a few users already suggests that it is in final testing phase, and will be released soon.

In fact, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, during the announcement of the Q4 financial results for 2013, had hinted at this. He had said, "Pretty soon, I think, you should expect us to roll out the mobile version of this (Graph Search). I think that that's going to be an important step, because most of the usage of Facebook overall is on mobile, so we expect that that's where engagement will really start to come from on Graph Search over time."

The Graph Search is a semantic search engine that is designed to give answers based on natural-language queries and is powered by Microsoft's Bing search engine platform. The year, 2014, appears to be the one where Facebook will be releasing a string of apps and features to improve their existing apps. The announcement about the Graph Search already in testing phase comes close on the heels of the Facebook Paper App, which was launched on February 3. While the Paper App has gone into a naming controversy with another app of the same name by FiftyThree, we hope the road for the Graph Search feature will be a smooth one
