Sony WH-1000XM6 Wireless Headphones

Sony’s WH-1000XM6 headphones have a refreshed design with new metal linkages on the headband that allows the headphones to fold inwards. Also new is the carry case which now has a magnetic flap instead of a zip, making it easy to access the headphones.

There’s plenty of new features and it’s nice to have a lot of customisation built into the Sony Sound Connect app. This lets users not only customise the sound, but the active noise cancelling experience as well.

Audio quality isn’t perfect by audiophile standards, but remains enjoyable to the broader audience that will get these headphones mainly for their ANC capability. As for the noise cancelling, it is top notch and now powered by a more power-efficient chipset.

Battery life is good as well. The headphones charge up quickly and can easily last more than a day with ANC turned on for continuous music listening.
