Kobian launches Rs. 3,999 tablet in India

  • Kobian today announced the launch of iXA Tab in India, an Android-based budget tablet priced at Rs. 3,999.
Kobian, a computer peripherals maker, has launched an Android-powered budget tablet called iXA Tab today. It has been priced at Rs. 3,999 and will go on pre-orders starting May 23.

The iXA Tab sports a 7-inch resistive touchscreen and runs on Android 2.3. It also features a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card slot.

The exact availability of the tablet will be announced on May 23. It joins the bandwagon of economical tablets in the market from companies such as Micromax, Datawind, HCL and Mercury.
