The headphones come with six pairs of interchangeable colour rings, allowing for 30 colour customisation combinations. The rings are claimed to be acoustically tuned as well, so changing the rings will supposedly tweak the sonic signature of the headphones. The audio capabilities of the headset are powered by 32mm neodymium dynamic drivers, and a 'Buddy' app can be installed, which will read out messages on the headset from paired Android devices.
The Creative Outlier headphones also come with NFC connectivity for quick Bluetooth pairing with supported devices, as well as lossless USB audio playback which lets you charge the device while playing music. The headset also has a built-in HD microphone that uses noise suppression technology. Battery life for the Creative Outlier is claimed to be up to ten hours on a full charge. The headphones also include a 3.5mm audio-in socket which lets you connect the headset with a typical stereo cable to any source equipment. This is particularly useful for when the headset is out of charge, or for use with non-Bluetooth devices.
The Creative Outlier headset is available now on Amazon India. Creative also recently launched the Woof 3 portable speaker for Rs. 3,999.
