Vu Launches 32-Inch Android 4.4.2 KitKat-Based LED TV at Rs. 24,990

Vu Televisions, a California-based company, on Wednesday has listed its first 32-inch Android-powered LED TV in India, priced at Rs. 24,990 (MRP Rs. 28,000) on Flipkart. The Vu 32K160M (Android) LED TV has already gone on up for pre-order and will be available to buy from Monday.

According to the listing, the Vu 32K160M (Android) LED TV runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and supports a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. It uses a 2GHz AMlogic Cortex-A9 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The 32-inch Vu 32K160M (Android) LED TV also has an 8GB internal storage with connectivity options like five USB 2.0 ports, two HDMI ports, VGA, AV, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and USB OTG, along with other features like Miracast and DLNA. The company says that it also comes with a number of pre-loaded applications and Google Play support.

Vu with the 32K160M (Android) LED TV is also bundling an Android function remote along with the traditional remote, as well as a free Logitech K400r Wireless Keyboard, which is for a limited time period.

Last month, the company had launched two 4K UHD (3840x2160 pixel) resolution LED TVs dubbed Vu 50K310 and Vu 55XT780 via Snapdeal, priced at Rs. 89,900 and Rs. 1,19,000, respectively.

The Vu 4K Ultra HD TVs feature quad-core graphics engine that can 'upscale' media content streamed via set-top boxes, and also make it appear sharper. Besides the inclusion of a Dolby Digital audio system, the Vu TVs include HDMI ports, USB ports, one video output, audio output, and headphone out. Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity are also available in the television sets.
