The device also comes with GPS and optical heart rate sensor. The smartwatch is currently available for purchase in the US via Amazfit's website.

The Amazfit Bip smartwatch is equipped with a 1.28-inch transflective always-on colour display with a resolution of 176x176 pixels, covered with a 2.5D layer of Gorilla Glass 3. It features IP68 dust and water resistance, PPG heart rate sensor, triaxial acceleration sensor, geomagnetic sensor, barometric pressure sensor, GPS + GLONASS, and more. The Amazfit Bip is compatible with both iOS and Android platforms. The device uses Xiaomi's MI Fit 3.0 app to pair with an iPhone or other smartphones.

The headlining feature in the Amazfit Bip smartwatch is its 190mAh battery. On a full charge of 2.5 hours, it can last for upto 4 months when used in the watch mode. The smartwatch can also "up to 30 days with regular use and up to 45 days with minimal notifications". However, when using the Bip with GPS tracking, it only gets 22 hours on a charge.

The Amazfit Bip comes in four colour options: Onyx Black, White Cloud, Kokoda Green and Cinnabar Red. However, currently, only the Onyx Black variant is available while the others will arrive in March. The watch weighs just 31 grams including the 20mm standard width changeable watch band.

In terms of design, the Amazfit Bip looks close to the Apple Watch. However, apart from notifications, you are limited to apps that are pre-installed on the Blip, with no separate app store for the watch.
