Rovio has updated its movie-themed Angry Birds Rio app for iOS and Android with 36 additional levels as part of the new Market Mayhem episode.

The fiery avian flock now takes the mischievous marmoset fight to warehouses and Brazilian market places. This means you're going to be flinging the feathery birds through fruit crates and off stalls to whack some sense into these pesky primates.

There are 4 new bonus levels and you can unlock three of them by earning certain number of stars and one more unlocked by earning 10 feathers.

The Golden fruit level now has a new strawberry fruit. Collect all 15 golden strawberries scattered through various levels. Once you've cleared all the levels of the episode, you'll have to square off against the Marmoset King, in a thrilling boss battle that's sure to send fur and feathers flying.

In December last year Angry Birds Rio was updated to introduce South American-themed powers. Players could have their birds don a fruit hat and shake things up with "Samba Burst" confetti, put explosives across the level with a "TNT Drop," and cause general mayhem with other new power-ups.

Last week, Rovio made the original Angry Birds app free for iPhone and iPad users. Angry Birds app for iPhone was priced at $0.99 while the Angry Birds HD app on iPad was available for $2.99. Furthermore, the app was also updated with 15 new additional Bad Piggies levels.

We'd like to remind our readers to "Stay Tooned" this coming weekend for Angry Birds Toons, which is an animated cartoon series based on Angry Birds franchise that will be premiering on March 16 and 17 2013.

This all-new animated series is set on Piggy Island and will feature short animation episodes that will be aired every week. The episodes promise to take viewers on the latest adventures of the furious avian flock and the egg-thirsty swine.
