With the 2015 Cricket World Cup 2015 well and truly underway, UCWeb has introduced a new integration called UC-Cricket in UC Browser for Android.

The new feature, in UC Browser for Android version 10.2.0, can be easily found on the homepage. The company is calling it an all-in-one cricket application that includes live updates, results, upcoming match information along with a chat option for fans.

Commenting on the new feature, Abhishek Sharma, Director of Marketing Communications at UCWeb India, said, "The UC-Cricket application provides users with more interactive and intuitive cricket services. It enables enthusiasts to catch live scores, instant updates and even play guessing games while on the move."

The UC-Cricket also includes a real-time notification feature which keeps running in the background and updates the latest scores (currently available in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh). Cricket fans can also interact with each other in the Comment section of each game, says company.

"This is a unique feature of UC-Cricket. We think it's important to let cricket fans talk with each other," added Sharma.

Last month, UCWeb in partnership with Facebook had announced that UC Browser users will receive real-time, or instant push notifications from the social platform. The company claimed that the real-time notifications will be available to its browser users without the need to install any add-on.
