Soon after the announcement of Mortal Kombat X, Microsoft has announced the next instalment of Forza Horizon, called Forza Horizon 2.

The news comes from IGN, which states that the upcoming Forza Horizon 2 is arriving on Xbox One and Xbox 360 gaming consoles later this year. "[Turn 10 and Playground] share this belief that we can create a true home for racing fans on Xbox One," said Horizon 2 creative director Ralph Fulton to the gaming blog.

The open-world racing game will sport hundreds of cars with the highlight being the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan. Furthermore, the Forza Horizon 2 is said to include the much-awaited weather system along with the similar Drivatar system used in Forza Motorsport 5.
