Gionee is one of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers that has focused more on its offline presence than online retail in India. At a recent launch event, the company boasted about how it has grown through offline channels over the years while other brands are fighting it out on e-commerce platforms. One factor that has worked well for Gionee so far is the fact that its product portfolio is spread across several price segments. Interestingly, Gionee has been tapping selfie-obsessed users across these segments, and the latest addition in the company's lineup is another attempt to do just that.
Gionee A1 Summary
The Gionee A1 is a solid option in its price segment, and will definitely make heads turn with its good looks. Battery performance is impressive, and the cameras fare well enough. This phone's biggest problem is a heating issue, and buyers will have to deal with the rear constantly getting uncomfortably warm with even day-to-day usage. The fact that this phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat gets extra points from us, though the software bloat is disappointing.

Dnt purchase it..Pravalika K (Sep 6, 2018) on Gadgets 360I suggest you nt to buy this product because a lot of problems wil arise .more heat will produce while charging and there will be a problem with earjack and if you fix the problem which arises in phone no guarentee whether your problem will solve r nt .. gionee care is also worst they wont provide spare parts..i purchased this mble one year ago bt i went to gionee store more than 10 times due to issues bt charging nd camera is good. Hardware problem within 4 days.Aarti Rawat Pun (Jun 28, 2017) on Gadgets 360Hi team, I purchased GIONEE A1 on 8th June and within 4 days I get to know that there is a problem of charging in the mobile.I talked to the shopkeeper and replaced the cable wire of the charger. And again there is a problem of charging and actually problem is not in the charger..... Problem is in the jack...Is this review helpful?
