Having just spent a lot of time with the Micromax Canvas 6 Pro (Review), it's now time to take a look at its lifestyle counterpart, simply called the Micromax Canvas 6. Priced identically to the Pro version, the company is essentially targeting two separate demographics here.
Micromax Canvas 6 Summary
The Micromax Canvas 6 is the more stylish sibling of the Canvas 6 Pro. It features a metal unibody design with chamfered edges and a fingerprint sensor around the back. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC and has 3GB of RAM, which gets the work done. The 13-megapixel camera captures decent daylight shots but the pictures lack depth and come out dull. It doesn't fare too well under low-light conditions and video quality is strictly average too. At Rs. 13,999, it's definitely the better pick over the Canvas 6 Pro but Micromax could have done so much more in order to make it stand out in the crowd.
