OnePlus is a Shenzhen-based start-up and producer of smartphones founded in December, 2013. The company's claim to fame is its bid to offer flagship-level specs in its smartphones, at affordable prices. OnePlus initially sold its smartphones only through an invite system where customers would be sent an invite to purchase smartphones and they had to make the purchase within a fixed time frame. Of late the company has held open sales of its smartphones too. OnePlus's latest mobile launch is the 16. The mobile was launched in 19th October 2026 (expected). The phone comes with a 6.78-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 3216 pixels. The OnePlus 16 is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor and it comes with 16GB of RAM. The phone packs 512GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the OnePlus 16 packs a 200-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 50-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The OnePlus 16 runs Android 17 and is powered by a 9,000mAh non removable battery. The OnePlus 16 is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
