Acer has kicked off its CES 2015 campaign with the launch of the Liquid Z410 smartphone.

The company has announced that the Acer Liquid Z410 will be available in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) starting February end at a price of EUR 129 (Rs. 9,767 approximately).

The highlight of the Liquid Z410 budget smartphone is that it supports 4G LTE (Cat. 4) connectivity and packs a 64-bit quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor. It features a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) display offering a pixel density of 245ppi. The Liquid Z410 runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is backed by a (unspecified) battery that offers up to 5.5 hours of talk time and up to 400 hours of standby time.

It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera alongside a 2-megapixel front camera that offers 80-degree wide-angle lens. The Acer Liquid Z410 also features a front-facing speaker powered by DTS Studio Sound.

Acer has also included a new button on the Liquid Z410, which it calls AcerRAPID, placed right under the camera and encircled by a textile pattern. According to the company, "the AcerRAPID key allows users to access a rich set of customizable actions with one touch. Easily operated by either hand, AcerRAPID is designed to add speed, flexibility and personalization to the user experience."

Another addition is the Acer QuickTouch feature that allows users to control the phone with one-finger gesture. "Swiping a Z shape on the locked display launches the music player and swiping left or right commands previous and next songs, while a C shape opens the camera and a V shape enable dialer functions," the company explains in a statement.
