Flipkart, the exclusive online retail partner of Motorola phones, has started officially teasing the India launch of the Google Nexus 6.

On Twitter, Flipkart says, "There's more to come... excited?", with an accompanied image that reads "There m6re to it, than meets the eye," alongside the words "coming soon" and a lollipop similar to Google's own Nexus 6 promotional pages on the Google Play store - all of which suggests the Nexus 6 will be launched in India soon via the e-commerce site.

Last week, Google's flagship phablet was listed by Flipkart without any price or availability details. The Flipkart listing of the 32GB variant of the Google Nexus 6 now notes that the product has been "permanently discontinued." This usually means that Flipkart will re-list the product soon.

The teaser tweet by Flipkart has seemingly confirmed that the Nexus 6 will only be available via Google Play and Flipkart in India. However, to be noted is that retail exclusivity for Nexus devices is usually around the launch period, with third party e-commerce sites usually listing the devices soon after.

The price of the Nexus 6 in India was officially confirmed last week by the listing of the smartphone on Google Play. Google Nexus 6 32GB variant was listed in India at Rs. 44,000, while the 64GB variant would be available in India at a price of Rs. 49,000. The prices were in-line with what NDTV Gadgets had exclusively reported earlier.

In the US, the Nexus 6 went up for pre-orders by the end of October in the US, and all variants and colours were listed as sold out within a few hours. The Google Play page said, "We are out of inventory. Please check back soon", without providing any details about when the company would have inventory again.
