The smartphone is powered by a 600MHz processor and comes with 512 MB RAM and Sense 4.0 user interface. It offers 4GB of internal storage with the option of expandable memory through a microSD slot.
Other features include a 5.0 MP camera with LED flash, Beats Audio integration and 25 GB of free Dropbox space for 2 years.
It is the fifth smartphone to be a part of the Desire range, after the original Desire, Desire HD, Desire Z, and Desire S. The mobile manufacturer is also expected to launch One S in the country soon.
With a lack of Android phones running on Ice Cream Sandwich in this price range, Desire C might be able to capture some market.
