Huawei Launches Honor 3C, Ascend G6 and Ascend G750 in India

Huawei has expanded its smartphone range in India and introduced three new mid-range devices - the Honor 3C, Ascend G6 and Ascend G750.

The Chinese handset maker has announced that the Huawei Honor 3C will be priced at Rs. 14,999, the Huawei Ascend G6 at Rs. 16,999, and the Huawei Ascend G750 at Rs. 24,999. The smartphones will hit market shelves in the coming days.

The Honor 3C is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby and runs the now dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 2.0 on top. It comes with a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD LTPS display, and offers a pixel density of 312ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor with a Mali 400 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. The Honor 3C comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (unspecified maximum storage capacity).

It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Honor 3C includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth. The smartphone packs a 2300mAh battery, and sports a 9.2mm thick profile.

Notably, Huawei had announced the Ascend G6 smartphone at MWC. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with company's Emotion UI 2.0 on top. The smartphone features a 4.5-inch qHD display and offers a pixel density 245ppi. The Ascend G6 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified chipset) and sports a 7.85mm slim profile and weighs 115 grams.

The Ascend G6 will be available in Black, Blue, Gold, Pink, and White colour variants. The Ascend G6 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and also includes a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs a 2000mAh battery and supports NFC connectivity.

Lastly, the Huawei Ascend G750 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and is backed by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592) processor alongside 2GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Huawei is touting the Ascend G750's front-camera as a 'selfie cam'.

It includes an 8GB of built-in storage with expandable storage support via microSD card slot (no word on maximum storage value). The Ascend G750 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, while also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs a 3000mAh battery.
