Intex Aqua Glam With 8-Megapixel Front Camera Launched at Rs. 7,690

Intex has launched what it is calling its "maiden offering for females", the Aqua Glam, priced at Rs. 7,690. Apart from an 8-megapixel selfie camera, the smartphone comes studded with Swarovski crystals on the side panel, and a Pink and Champagne colour variant. It also comes preloaded with some women-specific apps.

The Intex Aqua Glam runs Android 5.1.1. Lollipop, and features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC, coupled with 1GB of RAM. Apart from an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, it features an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. Camera features include panorama, face beauty mode, live photo mode, gesture capture, smile shot, HDR, face detection, Voice capture, and anti-shake for the front camera.

The Aqua Glam comes with 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It is powered by an 1850mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It weighs in at 116.2 grams, and measures 139.3x69x7.4mm. The smartphone also supports MediaTek's HotKnot connectivity, similar to NFC in terms of application, apart from the Smart Wake feature.

Intex has preloadedPreksha Meditation, MakeUp App, Sanjeev Kapoor's Recipes, and Sashakt women's safety apps. Other preloaded apps include Askme, Quikr, Newshunt, Clean Master, Myntra, InMobi, Intex Service, and Opera Mini.
