Lava 3G 354 With Dual-SIM Support Now Available Online at Rs. 3,999

Lava has expanded its budget '3G-series' of smartphones, with the introduction of the 3G 354. The smartphone is now listed on the company's site without pricing and availability details.

However, ahead of the official launch, the Lava 3G 354 has been made available via an e-commerce website, at Rs. 3,999.

The Lava 3G 354 will join the other smartphone in the company's budget range, which already includes the Lava 3G 356, 3G 402 and 3G 402+.

As the name of the Lava 3G budget series suggests, the phones support 3G connectivity, which is also true of the Lava 3G 354 - the highlight of the device at this price.

The Lava 3G 354 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support and features a 3.5-inch display with an HVGA (320x480 pixels) resolution.

A dual-core (unspecified) processor powers the smartphone, clocked at 1GHz, coupled with 256MB of RAM. The Lava 3G 354 sports a 2-megapixel rear camera without LED flash, while there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.

The 3G 354 comes with 2GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and GPRS/ EDGE connectivity options.

The Lava 3G 354 is backed by a 1400mAh battery, which according to the online retailer's listing can deliver up to 6 hours 40 minutes of talk time and 384 hours of standby time on 2G networks. The Lava 3G 354 will be available in Dark Blue and White colours. It measures 118x61x11.8mm and weighs 103.8 grams. The Lava 3G 354 is now listed on Saholic.

Earlier on Monday, Lava announced its new Iris X series of smartphones for India, which seemed to feature the latest version as a selling point, as the first model - the Iris X1 - runs Android 4.4.2 Jelly Bean. The company revealed that the sub-Rs. 8,000 smartphone and would be released in the next few days.
