Lenovo has launched its budget Vibe K5 Plus smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 8,499. The smartphone will be available from Flipkart on March 23, starting 12pm IST. The smartphone is being marketed as the successor to the Lenovo A6000 and Lenovo A6000 Plus, and India is its first launch market. The company also announced that on the day of the sale, an exchange and upgrade offer will be available for existing Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus users.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus was launched alongside the Lenovo Vibe K5 in Barcelona. The only difference between the two smartphones is in the display resolution and SoC. They run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The highlight of the smartphones are their Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers and aluminium casing.
