Lenovo Vibe X2 Goes on Sale With Launch Day Offers on Flipkart at Rs. 19,999

Lenovo last week launched the Vibe X2 in India, and it is up for grabs from Monday via Flipkart with launch day offers that are valid only on Monday.

The Chinese consumer electronics giant is offering a 95 percent discount on a Vibe Xtensions accessory, called the Vibe X2 Battery, which is 5.1mm thin charging case that can be clipped onto the back of the Lenovo Vibe X2 (First Impressions). The Vibe X2 Battery comes in two different power capacity options, but only the smaller 2300mAh variant is currently listed in India.

Notably, the Vibe X2 Battery is listed as the 'Lenovo Charging Case for Lenovo Vibe X2' on Flipkart, and is currently out of stock with a price of Rs. 1,999. The Lenovo Charging Case for Lenovo Vibe X2 will go up for sale on November 18. Customers can avail the launch day able to purchase the smartphone ahead of that date and still avail the offer by using the same email ID to log in to Flipkart when purchasing the case.

Consumers purchasing the Vibe X2 on Monday can also avail a 35 percent discount when shopping via the Myntra Android app (using the LENOVO35 coupon code), and also receive preselected Flipkart ebooks worth Rs. 1,200 for free. Additionally, HDFC/ ICICI credit card consumers will also get 6 month EMI interest charges refunded as cashback, if purchased on a 6-month EMI plan.

The company has brought the dual-SIM version of the Vibe X2 to India, featuring a Micro-SIM and a Nano-SIM card slot. Touted as the 'world's first layered smartphone', the handset sports a tri-layered design.

The smartphone features a 5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with Vibe UI 2.0. The Lenovo Vibe X2 is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595m processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM, and includes 32GB of inbuilt storage.

Other specifications of the Vibe X2 include a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera; a 5-megapixel front camera; a 2300mAh battery; 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands); Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac; Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It measures 140.2x68.6x7.27mm and weighs 120 grams.
