Micromax has expanded its Bolt smartphone portfolio by launching the new Bolt AD3520 smartphone in India during the ongoing CES 2015. The Micromax Bolt AD3520 is available to buy from an e-commerce firm at a price tag of Rs. 3,490, and is also listed on the company's website.
The dual-SIM supporting smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and features a 3.5-inch (480x854 pixels) IPS display. The Bolt AD3520 is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor coupled with 512MB RAM.
Featuring a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, the Micromax Bolt AD3520 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). Micromax's budget offering includes regular connectivity features like GPS, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. However, the smartphone misses out on 3G, which is available with a number of rival smartphones in the market within the same price bracket.
The Micromax Bolt AD3520 is backed by a 1500mAh battery and comes preloaded with some apps including Hike, Opera, Panda Run and more. The smartphone notably also features dual-front speakers, which Micromax is calling 'dual firing speakers'. It is available to buy from eBay India.
Micromax in November last year, launched the Bolt AD4500, which pretty much shares exactly the same specifications as the Bolt AD3520 but includes a slightly better battery. The smartphone, at the time of the launch, was priced at Rs. 5,249.
The firm recently announced its new line of smartphones by launching the Yu Yureka. The smartphone, which was launched last month, runs on Cyanogen OS and is priced at Rs. 8,999. The dual-SIM smartphone bears a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display; 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC; Cat. 4 LTE connectivity; Adreno 405 GPU; 2GB of RAM; 13-megapixel rear camera; 5-megapixel front-facing; and 2500mAh battery.
