Moto X's low-cost variant Motorola DVX leaked with images and specifications

Motorola is working on a low-cost variant of its flagship device, the Moto X, dubbed Motorola DVX, a rumour claims.

Images and specifications of what is being rumoured to be the Motorola DVX smartphone have been revealed on Chinese forum, Weibo. G4 Games first reports that the device might cost around 1200 to 1500 Yuan, which is roughly $200 to $250.

The site also reveals some of the specifications of the alleged Motorola DVX, which is said to be a dual-SIM device with a removable rear panel. The rumoured device is likely to be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, much like the Moto X, and would likely sport a 4.5-inch display. Unfortunately, not many details have been revealed, yet.

Meanwhile, Motorola unveiled its flagship device, the Moto X back in August. The device was the first smartphone the company launched since Google bought it in 2012.

The Moto X comes wrapped in Kevlar, and features a 4.7-inch (720p) display. It is powered by 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor that's coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes in two storage variants - 16GB and 32GB. The device sports a 10-megapixel camera on the rear and also includes a 2.1-megapixel camera on the front. It includes. The Moto X sports a nano-SIM and connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE and NFC.
