While a report a few couple of days ago indicated Motorola to launch its next smartphone this summer, a new video has surfaced on the Web showing what is said to be the third-gen Motorola Moto X along with some alleged specifications.

The 4-minute long YouTube video shows the Bamboo back version of the unannounced Moto X (Gen 3). Also shown at the back panel is a new metal plate connecting the rear camera, the dual-LED flash below it and the company logo at the middle. The front panel was seen with a bunch of sensors placed on either side of the speaker.

The video also hints at the specifications which might be carried by the handset. Sporting the model number XT1097, the smartphone is said to feature a 5.64-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) resolution display. The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop handset will be powered by a Snapdragon processor clubbed with a 3GB RAM. 21GB of inbuilt storage will be available for the users in the alleged Moto X (Gen 3). USB Type-C support and stereo speakers are also tipped, while the smartphone is also said to come in plastic, wood, and leather builds.

In the meanwhile, Phonearena tips that the Moto X (Gen 3) will in fact come in two variants. One, with the 5.7-inch QHD display will be a Verizon-exclusive, while the other global model will feature a 5.2-inch QHD display.

In addition, the handset model number matches with the previously rumoured smartphone codenamed 'Clark'. The device was said to be available via Verizon Wireless. Another handset with QHD display going by the codename 'Kinzie' was rumoured online. The device was said to feature an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor; 640dpi, and also run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The Moto X (Gen 3) leak comes roughly after four weeks since we saw Moto G (Gen 3) listed on Flipkart. The only detail that the listing reveals is that the Moto G (Gen 3) will come in 8GB built-in storage option and will be available in White colour.
