Samsung has been rumoured to be working on a new smartphone dubbed Galaxy Note 3 Lite, believed to be the affordable variant of the Galaxy Note 3.

Now, a new rumour claims that the alleged Galaxy Note 3 Lite will equip LTE support and might also come in a Green colour variant. Sammobile in a tweet revealed that the rumoured Galaxy Note 3 Lite will come with model number SM-N7505. Further, the tweet by Sammobile also claimed that the alleged device could see the light of the day in March. The tweet said, "SM-N7505 - Samsung GALAXY Note 3 Lite LTE - Green - 2014 W12."

According to the tweet, the alleged Galaxy Note 3 Lite will be released in the week 12 of 2014, which turns out to be sometime between March 17 and March 24. It's worth pointing out that previous reports had suggested that the alleged affordable variant of Galaxy Note 3 will be unveiled at MWC 2014 and the current tweet by Sammobile might be revealing the actual availability of the device.

An earlier report had suggested that Samsung had already started mass-production of the rumoured Galaxy Note 3 Lite, and was targeting to reach 500,000 units by January 2014. Further, the report indicated that the South Korean has a target to reach 1,500,000 units of alleged Galaxy Note 3 Lite by February, and aims to reach 30 percent of Galaxy Note 3 sales.

In addition, the South Korean handset maker is said to finalise a 5.68-inch display for the alleged Galaxy Note 3 Lite, while the screen technology was expected to be changed from Super AMOLED to LCD. As of now, there is no word on other specifications.

The rumoured Galaxy Note 3 Lite is not the only Lite variant expected to launch soon, as Samsung is said to be working on the Galaxy Grand Lite, believed to be the affordable variant of the Galaxy Grand, apart from the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, said to be the most affordable tablet in Samsung's line-up.
