After Samsung sent out invites for the Galaxy S6 launch event, and purported prices for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S Edge curved-display variant were leaked, fresh rumours suggesting four colour variants for the upcoming two smartphones are circulating, also tipping their build material.

A Sammobile report cites an insider source to claim the Samsung Galaxy S6 and its rumoured curved variant Galaxy S Edge (or Galaxy S6 Edge) will come in four different colour choices - dark blue, blue-green, gold, and white.

While gold and white are the standard options that we have seen in many Samsung devices, the blue-green colour is not something Samsung has offered in the past as far as we can remember, although the dark blue colour appears to be identical to that seen on the recently-launched metal-clad Galaxy A5.

Since the dark blue is speculated to be the same as that seen on the Galaxy A5, the report has fed fire to the Galaxy S6 metal body rumours. Of course, none of this can be confirmed until Samsung actually unveils the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S Edge at its scheduled pre-MWC event on March 1.

Earlier this week, Samsung started sending out invites for a Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event scheduled for March 1. The event is expected to see the launch of the Galaxy S6 alongside the much-anticipated curved-display variant, the Galaxy S6 Edge or Galaxy S Edge.

The invite certainly hints towards the presence of a curved-display Galaxy smartphone, with the line drawn easily mistaken with the top-right profile of the Galaxy Note Edge and its curved display. Of course, despite numerous rumours and leaks, it is not yet known whether Samsung will put the curved display on the Galaxy S6 itself, rather than offer a variant.

For the expected pricing for the two upcoming devices, a report by a European publication on Monday suggested that the Galaxy S6 in Europe is expected to start at EUR 749 (approximately Rs. 52,500) for the 32GB model, EUR 849 (approximately Rs. 59,500) for the 64GB model, and EUR 949 (approximately Rs. 66,500) for the 128GB model.

The Galaxy S Edge, along the lines of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and limited edition Galaxy Note Edge pricing, is said to feature a premium tag and start at EUR 949 for the 64GB model and EUR 1,049 (approximately Rs. 73,400) for the 128GB model.
