Sony has confirmed its presence at IFA 2015 electronics show in Berlin next month. Through its Italy Twitter channel, the company has confirmed that not only will it hold a press conference, but also announce "many new features." Rumour has it that the company will be unveiling its next flagship, the Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact at the event.

The company announced it will hold a press event on September 2. As for the devices to expect at the event, the Xperia Z5 along with the Z5 Compact seem likely for a number of reasons.

Two years ago, Sony said that it would launch two new flagship smartphones every year as it moved to 6-month product refresh cycle. Bolstering to that is company's own Made for Bond teaser posters in which it showcases a blurred images of what appears to be its next flagship smartphone. The new Bond movie releases this November.
