Spice Stellar Mi-503, Stellar Mi-507, and Stellar Mi-516 Launched in India

Spice has launched 3 new Stellar series Android smartphones in India - the Stellar Mi-503, Stellar Mi-507 and Stellar Mi-516 - all of which feature dual-SIM support.

All the new Stellar series smartphones are now listed on the company's site with pricing - Spice Stellar Mi-503 is priced at Rs. 6,249, the Spice Stellar Mi-507 at Rs. 6,999, and the Spice Stellar Mi-516 at Rs. 7,999.

As of now, there is no word on the availability details of the new smartphones; however, we expect that Spice will announce the availability in the coming days.

Notably, the Spice Stellar Mi-503 is a 2G smartphone and only supports GPRS/ EDGE, while the Stellar Mi-507 and Stellar Mi-516 support 3G connectivity (on both the SIMs). All the new Stellar series smartphones run Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The 3 new Stellar smartphone share a lot of similarities in terms of specifications as all sport a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display. Both the Stellar Mi-503 and Stellar Mi-516 feature an IPS LCD display.

The Stellar Mi-503 and Stellar Mi-507 are powered by 1.3GHz dual-core (unspecified chipset) processors clubbed with 512MB of RAM, while the Stellar Mi-516 is backed by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor alongside 1GB of RAM. There is 4GB built-in storage, which is expandable up to 32GB (via microSD card), in all 3 new Stellar series smartphones.

All 3 sport 8-megapixel rear autofocus cameras, while there is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera on Stellar Mi-503, a 2-megapixel front camera on the Stellar Mi-507, and a 3.2-megapixel front camera on the Stellar Mi-516.

The Stellar Mi-503 and Stellar Mi-516 are backed by a 2000mAh battery, and the Stellar Mi-507 an 1800mAh battery. Connectivity options on all the three smartphones include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS, GPRS/EDGE, and 3G (Stellar Mi-507 and Stellar Mi-516).
