Spice Xlife 406 With 3G Support Launched at Rs. 3,799

Spice has expanded its XLife smartphone series with the launch of the XLife 406. The smartphone is now listed on the company's site at Rs. 3,799. So far, there is no announcement from Spice about the availability handset.

Much like other XLife smartphones, the Spice XLife 406 comes with dual-SIM support and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA IPS display with a pixel density of 233ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and Mali-400 GPU.

It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera also on board.

On the connectivity front, the Spice XLife 406 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 1450mAh battery that can deliver up to 7 hours of talktime. It measures 124x63.2x10.8mm and is listed in Black and White colours.

Last month, Spice unveiled its new XLife smartphone series in India targeting first time smartphone buyers in tier two and tier three cities. Under the new XLife series, the company launched XLife 404 priced at Rs. 3,190; XLife 431q at Rs. 3,999; XLife 431q Lite at Rs. 3,850, and XLife 512 at Rs. 4,499. The company confirmed that all the four smartphones will be available via retail stores and the company's online store. All the newly launched Spice XLife smartphones come with dual-SIM support and run Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
