Chinese handset maker Vivo has confirmed a launch event on November 30, where the company is set to unveil the upcoming X6 smartphone.

In a Weibo post, the company confirmed the launch date and the name of the handset, the Vivo X6. The company has not teased any details about the handset in the teaser post. The company has been teasing its smartphone continuously and has until now confirmed features such as dual fast charging technology, 4GB of RAM, split-screen multitasking, and fingerprint scanner. Vivo had previously also confirmed that the X6 will come in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold colours.

Vivo's X6 smartphone was recently spotted (via TimesNews) in a Tenaa listing, providing a few details about the innards of the handset. According to the Tenaa listing, the Vivo X6 will feature a 6-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display; will be powered by a deca-core MediaTek (MT6795) Helio X20 processor; 4GB of RAM; 32GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card. The handset is said to run Android 5.1 Lollipop and sport a 21-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and also packs a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is also said to include a 4000mAh battery and support dual-SIM as well as 4G connectivity.

The handset was earlier spotted on AnTuTu benchmark as well suggesting almost identical innards as rumoured. However, one of the biggest differences was the chipset. The AnTuTu listing claimed that the Vivo X6 may pack an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset instead of the deca-core MediaTek MT6795 Helio X20 SoC.

The company also confirmed that it currently had 30 service centres and over 10,000 outlets across 100 cities of the country. Vivo revealed that it employed staff at the retail outlets and the current staff strength for the same stood at 7,000. The company is only selling its device offline.
