Celebrating its 1-year anniversary this week, Xiaomi India has announced a limited period discount for the
Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB variant on
Flipkart. Valid for one day, the offer sees a Rs. 2,000 discount on the Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB, bringing the price down to Rs. 17,999.
The
Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB discount is available exclusively on Flipkart, and Xiaomi India is
calling it a 'birthday present' by the online retailer. At the time of writing on Friday, more than 24 hours were remaining in the validity of the offer.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer had slashed the price of the 64GB variant
last month to Rs. 19,999. This price cut followed one from
April where the company had cut the price by Rs. 2,000 from its
launch price, bringing it to Rs. 21,999.

Pictures) runs on MIUI 6 based on Android 4.4 KitKat. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz alongside 3GB of RAM. The Mi 4 sports the same 5-inch full-HD display (1080x1920 pixels) found on the Mi 3; although this time the company has used a JDI OGS full lamination display. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera on the Xiaomi Mi 4, with both sporting Sony's stacked CMOS sensors. The smartphone is backed by a 3080mAh Li-ion battery.
Other announcements made during Xiaomi India's 1-year anniversary celebrations include the
introduction of the 32GB variant of the
Xiaomi Mi 4i, and, the
launch of the Mi Headphones and new Mi In-Ear Headphones.
