Oppo has had a good run with its photography-centric ‘F series’ ever since the Oppo F1 (Review) launched in February last year. Since then, we’ve also had the F1s (Review) and the F1 Plus (Review) smartphones to fill different gaps in the mid-range segment. Oppo is still promoting this series heavily today, both online and offline, and we’re pretty sure it has been a major contributor to the company’s strong position in the Indian market.

Oppo F3 Plus Summary

The Oppo F3 Plus features a metal unibody with a non-removable 4000mAh battery. It has a 6-inch, full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which produces sharp images but the colours are too heavily saturated. There’s a fingerprint sensor integrated into the capacitive home button that works well, and backlit navigation keys on either side. The phone supports 4G with VoLTE and can accommodate a microSD card in the second SIM slot. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 653 SoC, and has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Performance is good as the F3 Plus can handle most apps and games with ease. It runs on ColorOS 3.0, based on Android Marshmallow, which is a bit disappointing since we expected Nougat. There’s a 16-megapixel front camera and a secondary 8-megapixel wide-angle front camera for group selfies. Both offer good performance in daylight but low-light shots suffer a bit. The rear 16-megapixel camera has a f/1.7 aperture and dual PDAF, which capture sharp landscapes and macros and even low-light shots are relatively noise free. The phone also supports Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge Mini feature.

Please don't buy oppo mobile phones

I had many software issues and right after my warranty period say 2-3 days it got switch off and never turned on again.I contact oppo service center and they confirmed it as hardware complaint and estimate repair cost was about half the buying price.

One of the best mobile available in market among all the brands its performance,camera, sound and picture quality is utimate. I rccumend this should be first choice and offcourse in this budget it better than an I phone
