Micromax Funbook Alpha features Android 4.0, 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, Wi-Fi connectivity, 3G dongle support, 512MB RAM and 2800mAh battery. The only difference between the original Funbook and Funbook Alpha seems to be the missing mini-HDMI port.
The tablet is selling for Rs. 5,999 on the website, but we are yet to receive any official word from Micromax.
Apart from Funbook Alpha, Micromax is also going to launch another tablet called Funbook Infinity, which will feature a 2MP rear camera. Other specifications are likely to remain same.
The company has already sold over 1,40,000 units of its original Funbook tablet, which was launched in the country in April this year. (See: Funbook review)
