Micromax Funbook P365 voice-calling tablet launched at Rs. 6,749

Soon after launching the Canvas Tab P650E and Funbook Ultra HD P580 tablets, Micromax has now quietly unveiled the Funbook P365 tablet for the Indian market.

The Funbook P365 is now officially available at Micromax's online store for Rs. 6,749. Notably, the Canvas Tab 650E tablet is also available with MTS offers. The Funbook P365 was listed on the company's site without pricing earlier this month.

The Micromax Funbook P365 tablet supports voice-calling feature via SIM card (single). It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and features a 7-inch TFT display with an 800x480 pixel resolution. The device is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Rockchip RK3028 Cortex A9 processor paired with a Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The Micromax Funbook P365 features a 2-megapixel rear camera (with no flash) and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.

The Funbook P365 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE and Micro-USB. It's worth pointing out that the Micromax Funbook P365 does not support 3G connectivity.

The tablet has a battery capacity of 2800mAh, which according to the listing, provides up to 6 hours of talktime, and 70 hours of standby time. The Funbook P365 tablet comes with some preloaded apps such as M! Live, Opera Mini, Spuul, Hike, and Kingsoft Office.

On Tuesday, Micromax launched the Canvas Tab P650E at Rs. 8,999 and the Funbook Ultra HD P580 at Rs. 11,990.

Notably, both the Canvas Tab P650E and the Funbook Ultra HD P580 tablets support the voice-calling feature. The Micromax Canvas Tab P650E is a CDMA variant of the company's first flagship tablet, the Canvas Tab P650. It comes with a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. The tablet runs on the dated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The Micromax Funbook Ultra HD P580, on the other hand, runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It features a 7.85-inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.
