"As headphones have become part of the uniform of youth and our consumers every day gear, our approach to the wireless category as a whole has been to solve the problems of all day wearability and performance without sacrificing aesthetics," said Amlan Bhattacharya, Founder & CEO of Brandeyes Distributors Pvt. Ltd.
The Uproar BT edition offers the same lightweight design and on-ear fit as the original Uproar headphones, but adds Bluetooth functionality with a claimed battery life of up to 10 hours. The fit is expected to be comfortable, thanks to plush synthetic leather ear padding, along with more soft padding in the headband. The headphones also have a built-in microphone, which will allow users to use the headphones as a hands-free headset for calls. Furthermore, there are also controls built into the right ear cup, which will let users control their music without taking out their smartphones from their pockets.
The new headphones are available at leading retail stores all over the country, and can also be purchased online through Intersection.in. Skullcandy will notably take on Sony's MDR-ZX330BT Bluetooth on-ear headphones at the price point. The new headphones also retain the company's modern styling that will no doubt appeal to the youth.
