Beginning of the end of tablets?

With over a 150 million users worldwide and global sales surpassing those of the PC, Tablets were considered to be the hottest category in the world of tech. But are they really? Apples entry to the foray had every major brand scrambling to enter the tablet market. The tablet was expected to be on everybody's wish-list and the next laptop replacement. But was it really? The numbers are in and the predictions were wrong. Is this the end of Tablets, as we know it?
