Vivo iQoo Neo is powered by a 2.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The Vivo iQoo Neo runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by a 4500mAh battery. The Vivo iQoo Neo supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo iQoo Neo on the rear packs a 12-megapixel (f/1.79) primary camera; an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 12-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo iQoo Neo runs Funtouch OS 9 is based on Android 9 Pie and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage. The Vivo iQoo Neo is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Vivo iQoo Neo measures 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 198.50 grams. It was launched in Carbon Black and Electro-Optic Violet colours.

Connectivity options on the Vivo iQoo Neo include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Vivo iQoo Neo supports face unlock.
